Placing an order and acceptance of orders

Orders can be placed online 24 hours a day, every day of the year. The customer chooses and orders products and services that are available in the online shop. We accept orders via our online shop or by e-mail at: institute@knowledge-management.si

Orders can be placed by both registered and unregistered users.

Upon registration, online visitors are given a username and password of their choice. The username and the password unambiguously define and connect the user with the registered data. By registering, the visitor becomes a user and acquires the right to purchase. The user is responsible for the correctness of the data provided.

Online purchase is possible for unregistered users as well. The customer is responsible for the correctness of the data provided.

Following the placement of the order through the online shop or via email, the customer receives a confirmation via email containing information about the products and quantities ordered.

The order is processed after receiving cleared payment.


Prices

All prices are in Euros (EUR).

If VAT is not explicitly stated, it is already included in the price.

The prices can change without prior notice. For individual purchases, the price indicated at the time of the placement of the order is valid. All prices are for one (1) item, unless otherwise indicated.

VAT payers or customers that wish to do so are required to indicate their VAT number before completing the purchase.

The purchase contract between the seller and the customer is concluded at the moment when the seller confirms the order (the customer receives an e-mail). From that moment, all prices and other terms are fixed and apply to the seller and the customer.


Postage

The postage of the purchased items is calculated in accordance with Institute for Knowledge Management price list.

The postage to be paid by the customer is always indicated it the »Basket« by clicking on »Calculate postage and VAT«.

Delivery times
All purchased products will be shipped using the services of the Post of Slovenia the first working day following the purchase or at latest within three days following the purchase. We decline any responsibility for late deliveries to the customer's address.

Failure to collect the ordered products

If the Customer fails to collect the ordered products and the shipment is returned back to seller, it will count as if the customer withdrew from the contract unless the customer, within 15 days after the order was shipped, sends a request to the seller to ship the order again.

The customer that does not collect the order shipped with payment upon delivery, is charged with the amount of the postage and additional € 20 of handling fees.

Personal collection is possible in exceptional cases, only upon prior agreement. If the price of the product includes shipment, it is not possible to claim any special discount or bonus due to personal collection.


Payment option

The seller accepts the following payment options:

  • Payment in cash upon collection/delivery (only in Slovenia). Attention: this payment method is associated with additional costs or fees charged by the Post of Slovenia.
  • Bank transfer following the issue of an offer/ pro-forma invoice. In case you select the bank transfer option, you will receive all relevant bank details and instructions upon completion of your purchase.
  • Payment through PAYPAL

Cancellation of the order
Before item is sent. In case the customer wants to cancel the order, it has to be done by email within 5 hours from the placement of the order. The cancellation request should be clear and unambiguous and communicated in writing to the e-mail:  institute@knowledge-management.si.

During shipment. If the customer fails to collect the ordered products and the shipment is returned back to seller, it will count as if the customer withdrew from the contract unless the customer, within 15 days after the order was shipped, sends a request to the seller to ship the order again.

Following receipt. The consumer has the right, within 15 days of receipt of the products to communicate to the seller his cancellation of the purchase without being required to state the reason for his decision. The notice of withdrawal from the purchase must be clear and unambiguous and communicated in writing to the e-mail: institute@knowledge-management.si.

The customer does not have the right to unilaterally cancel the orders and contracts defined in the art. 43 of the Consumer Protection Act. In accordance with this provision, the consumer can’t request a refund for the purchased digital content which is not supplied on a durable medium, provided that at the time of purchase he agreed to it.

Products must be returned within 15 working days of the notice of withdrawal from the purchase.

Products must be returned intact, in the same amount and in the original packaging, unless the products were destroyed, spoiled, lost or their quantity was reduced, without the fault of the customer.

The customer shall bear the cost of returning of the products.

Institute for Knowledge Management is not obliged to accept shipments with payment upon delivery.

Returns should be sent to the following address: Institute for Knowledge Management, Dunajska cesta 20, 1000 Ljubljana .

Upon receipt of the returned products, in accordance with the law i.e. within 14 days of receipt of the returned products, the seller must return the amount paid by the customer to the customer's bank account. The request for refund should contain a copy of the invoice, personal information and bank account details for a full refund.

For service contracts concluded via the online shop, the 15 days period for withdrawal from the contract starts on the date of conclusion of the contract or the moment the order was confirmed.

Institute for Knowledge Management may withdraw from the purchase order if the customer fails to complete the payment, resulting from the accepted order or the invoice. The payment deadline for confirmed orders or issued invoices, if not otherwise specified, is 5 days from the placement of the order.

Institute for Knowledge Management reserves the right to refuse orders, which are not complete with all the data necessary for the delivery of the products /service. If in such cases the customer has already paid the invoice, the entire purchase price shall be returned within 3 working days.

For electronic services and digital content, Institute for Knowledge Management reserves the right to change the date of implementation or, exceptionally, to cancel the implementation of the contract due to problems with the Internet connections and servers. In these and similar cases, customers will be notified in due time. Institute for Knowledge Management will agree with the customer new suitable deadline for the implementation of the contract.


Privacy policy

By confirming the registration or making a purchase, the customer allows Institute for Knowledge Management. to gather, manage, maintain and use personal data, in line with the rules for the protection of personal data under the Act on Personal Data Protection and Consumer Protection Act.

Institute for Knowledge Management collects the following data about its customers:

  • For legal persons: name of the company, address, tax number, VAT number, contact person, email address, phone number.
  • For physical persons: name and surname, address, email address, phone number, organisation and position in the organisation (for the participants of seminars and training)

Data is collected for the purpose of delivery of the products and services purchased as well as internal statistics, market segmentation and sending of information and invitations.

The customer, by registering or making a purchase, agrees to:

  • Receive targeted offers and information from Institute for Knowledge Management.
  • Receive other targeted offers and information from Institute for Knowledge Management partners.
  • Have the possibility to request, at any given time, to be unsubscribed from all the email information and notifications.
  • Have the possibility to request, at any given time, for his personal data to be deleted from the list of business contacts.

Institute for Knowledge Management is the administrator of the data provided by the customers.

Institute for Knowledge Management guarantees not to share the personal data with any unauthorised third parties.

Information about our offers

Institute for Knowledge Management can periodically, but not more than five times a month, send email information about the ongoing offers to its customers.


Limitation of liability

Institute for Knowledge Management shall not be liable for any short interruptions in the functioning of the online shop, incorrect information on the web page and for any damage caused by the use of incomplete of incorrect information.

Institute for Knowledge Management shall not be liable for any damages arising from access to, use of or inability to use the information on this web page or for any errors or omissions in its content.

Intellectual Property Rights

The content of the web page and the products offered are protected by copyright. Institute for Knowledge Management or the author indicated is the owner of the copyright.

Institute for Knowledge Management does not waive any copyright on the material published online.

Any use of the published material without prior written approval of the copyright holder, other than personal use, is forbidden.  Breach by the user may constitute a criminal offense and may result in material liability. In case of violation of the provision of the present article, Institute for Knowledge Management reserves the right to initiate, at any given time, appropriate legal proceedings.

In case of violation of the provision of the present article, RR & CO. d.o.o. reserves the right to initiate, at any given time, appropriate legal proceedings.  

The fact that the owner of the above rights has not immediately reacted to the user's violation of the provisions of this article, does not mean that the owner of the rights has waived any trademarks or other rights derived from them.


Warranty  

Warranty is provided, if so indicated on the warranty card or invoice. This warranty is valid only if the instructions in the warranty card have been followed and upon presentation of the invoice. The warranty periods are listed on the warranty or invoice.

Warranty information is also available on the product page. If no warranty information is provided, the product is not covered by warranty or no information is available at the moment.  In such a case, the customer can contact the seller for more information.


Complaints and disputes

Institute for Knowledge Management strives for customer satisfaction and respects the existing consumer protection legislation.

Changes in the general terms and conditions

Institute for Knowledge Management reserves the right, at any given time and without prior notice, to amend or change the provisions of the general terms and conditions for users of the online shop.
